Message from Principal
Dear Skyline Families,
Spring Break starts on Monday! We hope you enjoy a well-deserved break and quality time with your families. When we return, there will be just nine weeks left in the school year—only seven and a half for our seniors. Let’s make every moment count, stay focused, and finish strong!
It’s been inspiring to see our students working hard, staying engaged, and making the most of every opportunity to grow. Their dedication and enthusiasm are truly remarkable! Let’s keep up the momentum, push through the remainder of the year, and come back ready to finish the year strong. We’re proud of our Falcons—let’s make it happen!

Falcons Demonstrate Excellence: Please join us in celebrating our February Falcon students of the month. These students have demonstrated excellence inside of the classroom and were nominated by their teachers.

Also, please join us celebrating our Student/Athletes of the month. These students were committed both inside and outside of the classroom.
Robotics Teams Compete at State: Congratulations to our incredible robotics teams, Flux and Beehive, for their outstanding performance at the State Tournament last Saturday! Ranking among the top 32 teams in Colorado, these students represented Skyline with remarkable innovation and grit.
Flux (sophomores Abdullah Haseeb, Mason Stromquist, and Jackson Holliness) opened with dominant victories. Despite a string of technical alliance failures beyond their control, Jackson’s expert driving kept them competitive in a narrow loss against the eventual state champions. Beehive (seniors Milo Glass, Sam Taylor, and Jacob Miracle) successfully secured a high alliance seed to cap off their impressive high school careers.
This season, these teams competed across the region and at signature events in Salt Lake City and Colorado Springs. Notably, two of our four teams successfully implemented PID control into their autonomous programs for the first time, earning a Judges Award, Skills Award, and Tournament Champions Award this year. We are incredibly proud of their dedication!
Progress in Motion: Our New Stadium Project Has Begun! We are thrilled to announce that construction on the Skyline stadium project is officially underway! It is exciting to see the initial groundwork taking shape as we build a premier space for our athletes and fans. The project is currently on track for an August completion, and we are eagerly anticipating hosting our very first home games under the lights for the Fall 2026 season. PLEASE NOTE – The main parking lot and all access to the main parking lot will be completely closed during spring break.
This transformation would not be possible without the incredible support of our Falcon families and the local community. Thank you for your patience and for your continued investment in our students’ experiences—we can’t wait to see you all in the stands this fall!
Spring Athletics Kick Off: Our spring sports season is officially underway! With baseball, golf, girls’ soccer, ultimate disc, and track in full swing, our student-athletes are training hard and ready to compete. Let’s cheer them on and wish them the best of luck for a fantastic season!
Falcon Fest: Skyline High School was electric onThursday as our community gathered for Falcon Fest! It was an incredible night of celebrating the talent, innovation, and hard work of our amazing students and staff. From breathtaking Visual Arts gallery walks to show-stopping student performances, the evening perfectly showcased the creative spirit that makes Skyline so special. It was a joy to see our Falcons blending traditional artistry with future-ready skills! Thank you to everyone who joined us to fill our halls with such amazing energy and support.
Future Ready Fest Success: The Future Ready Festival was an incredible showcase of innovation and a true testament to the unique programs that make St. Vrain Valley Schools so special! We were especially proud to have our very own Skyline staff and students lead the way as presenters, performers and by providing a firsthand look at the creativity and leadership our Falcons bring to the community every day. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the forward-thinking work happening in our district and to see our students shine on such a prominent stage.
Prom & Attendance Update: Any students who are planning on attending the Junior/Senior Prom on Saturday, April 18 will be allowed to have no more than 5 days of unexcused absences (4 period absences equals 1 day) and/or 25 tardies beginning January 26, 2026 in the 12 weeks leading up to Prom. Reminder, absences must be excused within 48 hours of the absence.
Please remember that absences must be excused within 48 hours. If you have any questions or concerns, students should reach out to their assistant principal as soon as possible. Let’s work together to make prom a night to remember!

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.
After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.
Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
iPad Insurance and Fees
Students can still add iPad Insurance, just bring your iPad up to the Library to be inspected by Mrs. Sebring. After inspected the fee will be added in Infinite Campus, and parents can pay either online or in the main office.
