Message from Principal
Dear Skyline Families and Community,
As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt thanks to each of you for your unwavering support, partnership, and dedication to our students and our school.
Please join us in one last, massive celebration of excellence as we honor the incredible achievements of our standout Falcons! A huge congratulations to our Class of 2026 Valedictorian, Ashley Berkowitz, and Salutatorian, Cecilia Wilson, as well as our P-TECH Valedictorian, Josue Ruiz, and P-TECH Salutatorian, Caroline Marley, for their exceptional academic leadership. We are also thrilled to celebrate our state-bound athletes who showcased tremendous effort this week: Miley Davis, who earned All-State honors twice with a spectacular 3rd-place finish in the Triple Jump and 5th-place finish in the Long Jump; Logan Mault, who secured All-State honors with a phenomenal 3rd-place finish in the Pole Vault; Cameron Wilson, who capped off his season by throwing a brand new personal record in the Shot Put; and Hayley Reedy, who placed in the top 20 in the state for Pole Vault. Finally, a resounding round of applause for Colbie Hanson, who proudly represented Skyline as a state qualifier at the Girls Golf tournament in Montrose. We are incredibly proud of the legacy of determination, talent, and success these students leave behind! #WeAreSkylineEveryDay
This year has been filled with meaningful learning, exciting accomplishments, and memorable moments — from academic milestones to powerful performances, championship runs to inspiring student leadership. Our seniors are ready to soar, and our underclassmen are prepared to carry the torch forward.
None of this would be possible without the support of our incredible families and community partners. Thank you for showing up, cheering us on, and walking alongside us every step of the way.
We are so proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited for the future of Skyline. On behalf of our entire staff, I wish you all a joyful, restful, and safe summer. We look forward to welcoming our Falcons back in August for another fantastic year! #WeAreSkylineEveryday!
With gratitude and Falcon pride,
Anthony Barela – Principal, Skyline High School

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.
Parents and guardians received an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.
Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
