Message from Principal

Dear Skyline Families,

As we move into mid-February, it’s inspiring to see our students staying engaged and pushing forward in their learning! They continue to deepen their understanding, strengthen connections with teachers, and seize opportunities for growth. Their dedication is truly commendable, and we’re excited to support them in finishing the month strong. Let’s keep up the momentum and make the rest of February a time of progress, achievement, and success!

Falcons Demonstrate Excellence:

Please join us in congratulating Senior Academic Standout Breanne Baker as she has been named as a Daniels Fund Scholarship Finalist!  This is an incredible honor and opportunity for Breanne!  Bravo!

Registration reminders:This is an exciting time as we get ready for the 2025-2026 school year, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Below are important dates and reminders to guide you and your student through the process.

  • May 15, 2025: Student Schedules Released.  Mark your calendars! Student schedules for the 2025-2026 school year will be available starting May 15, 2025.

Attendance Update:  Attendance is essential for our students’ success. Starting this week, we will update our tardy policy: students with 5 tardies in a week will receive lunch detention. This averages to one tardy per day. These updated expectations were shared with students during advisory classes prior to break. Thank you for your support in reinforcing the importance of being on time!

Prom & Attendance Update:  Any students who are planning on attending the Junior/Senior Prom on Saturday, April 12  will be allowed to have no more than 5 days of unexcused absences (4 period absences equals 1 day) and/or 25 tardies beginning January 24, 2025  in the 12 weeks leading up to Prom.  Reminder, absences must be excused within 48 hours of the absence.

Thank you for your continued partnership as we step into the new year with inspiration and purpose. Together, we’re creating a bright future for every student. Wishing you all a joyful and successful 2025!

Sincerely,
