Safe2Tell has created a newsletter to be shared with students via email or other electronic communication. The purpose of this newsletter is to share updates about Safe2Tell with youth, and to also serve as a reminder that Safe2Tell is here if they have concerns about their, or their peers’, safety. Safe2Tell will send a new student newsletter each semester. We hope you will find this helpful in keeping your school community safe. Thank you for your partnership!
Upcoming Superintendent’s Town Hall Meetings
St. Vrain Valley Schools invites parents, teachers, staff, and community members to join Superintendent, Dr. Don Haddad, for one of our upcoming Superintendent Town Hall meetings. These annual open forums in each of our geographic areas provide an opportunity for Dr. Haddad and other district leaders to listen to our community’s questions and suggestions, share our many successes, and discuss our bold vision for continuing to build new schools as our student enrollment continues to climb.

Monday, October 2, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Skyline High School
Tuesday, October 3, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Erie High School
Wednesday, October 4, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Mead High School

You’re Invited: Innovation Center Student Team Job Fair
Students in grades 8-12 and their families are invited to attend the Innovation Center’s Student Team Job Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools. Student Teams are paid, work-based learning opportunities where high school students explore possible career options through various hands-on projects and mentoring from industry professionals.
Save the Date- NMSQT and Practice SAT
The NMSQT and the Practice SAT will take place on October 11th. Students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will test on this day. Seniors will have asynchronous learning for the day. The test is estimated to be slightly more than 2 hours, once the test is over, students may go home.

St. Vrain Valley Schools Hosts Annual Musical Instrument Drive
Donate gently used musical instruments to support St. Vrain Valley Schools’ music program at the fourth annual collection drive.
Drop off your contributions at the Lincoln School building on 619 Bowen St. in Longmont on September 26 (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) or September 29 (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) and receive a donation receipt.
Your generosity enriches our classrooms, provides instruments for students, and enhances our district’s music programming.
Yearbook/Senior Photos/Baby Ad
Senior photos are due by Friday, October 27, 2023. There will be a $10 late fee for any pictures submitted after this date. We will no longer be accepting photos after Friday November 10th, 2023.
If you want to show off more of those baby pictures, Senior recognition ads can be purchased until October 27th, 2023 for early bird pricing. They will remain on sale at the regular price until December,1st 2023.

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE MEALS
We will be showing our Skyline teachers and staff our appreciation! The Booster Club is coordinating dinners for our teachers and staff during conferences on Wednesday, October 11th. The theme is Chili Night and a sign up will be coming for you to help support our teachers and staff. Watch for more information coming soon along with the sign up!
Next meeting: Wednesday, October 4th at 6:30 p.m. at Skyline HS. Join us in helping to create community and a positive experience for all our students!
FaclonTECH
Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) is a new type of school that brings together the best elements of high school, college and the professional world.
P-TECH is a model that Skyline offers, allowing students to earn a high school diploma as well an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) at no cost from Front Range Community College.
STEM Academy
Our STEM courses are designed so that students have the opportunity to develop multi-cultural relationships within teams, to collaboratively solve problems and to develop leadership skills.
Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VPA)
Skyline provides a rigorous, comprehensive and technology-infused arts program that will prepare our students for post-secondary education, careers, and other creative fields.
