Message from Principal

Dear Falcon Parents/Guardians,

We had another amazing week of learning at Skyline!  Our students are finding their stride, engaging deeply in their classes, and building strong learning habits.

A huge congratulations to Ash Berkowitz, who has been named a National Merit Semi-Finalist! This is an incredible achievement and a testament to Ash’s hard work and dedication—way to go, Ash!

Mariachi Shines: Skyline Mariachi Halcones wowed board members at the CASB breakfast last Friday morning. They also have events this weekend to showcase their amazing talents at the All-State Mariachi Festival!

A group of 16 Mariachi student musicians in traditional attire, holding instruments, poses in a warmly lit indoor setting.

As we move forward, we want to keep the focus on two key areas: grades and attendance. Regular attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student success, and we encourage all students to be present and on time each day, ready to learn and grow.

Falcon Families, thank you for supporting your students by checking grades and attendance regularly in Infinite Campus and staying connected through Schoology, where assignments and class updates are posted. Together, we can help every Falcon soar!

Important Reminders:

  • Superintendent Town Hall Meetings: We will host a town hall meeting at Skyline High School on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in our library. The meeting will run from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. These forums provide an opportunity for Dr. Kapushion and other district leaders to hear from our community, share successes, and discuss our vision for the future.
  • Animals on Campus: This is a reminder that animals are NOT allowed on the Skyline campus during school hours or at any extracurricular events. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of our students.
  • Code of Conduct: Thank you for your partnership and supporting the academic growth, safety, and well-being of our students. Every year, St. Vrain Valley Schools prints an up-to-date version of the Code of Conduct for students and families to review. This important document guides students and school staff on what expectations for school conduct and the consequences for behaviors that fall outside of those expectations. It is important that families review this information every year and acknowledge their receipt and understanding of this document.
  • To this end, please click here to access an electronic version of the Code of Conduct for the current school year. After you have reviewed this information, all families must sign an electronic acknowledgement that they have received, read, and understand the information contained, including the Annual Notification to Parents/Guardians; Behavioral Code of Conduct; Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents; and Board of Education Policies book. To sign your electronic acknowledgement, please follow the steps described here.
  • Again, thank you for your continued partnership and support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at Skyline.
