Message from Principal

Skyline Families,

As we welcome the month of May, I can hardly believe we’re in the final stretch of the school year! Our seniors have just a week and a half left, and the rest of our students have only three short weeks to go.

This is such an important time to stay focused, stay present, and give it our all. I encourage every Falcon to finish strong and support one another as we wrap up the year on a high note. Let’s soar to the finish, Falcons!

Next week is Staff Appreciation Week, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to recognize the incredible teachers and staff who go above and beyond every day for our students.

We’d love your help in showing them just how much they’re appreciated! If you’re able, please consider sending in a treat, snack or a gift card for a teacher or staff member—along with a kind note from you or your student. These small gestures of appreciation make a big impact and truly brighten their day.

Thank you for helping us celebrate the amazing people who make Skyline such a special place!

Mark your calendars:  Please mark your calendars for May 19, 2025 starting @ 3:15PM in Vance Brand Auditorium as we will be celebrating our student/athletes who will be competing at the collegiate level by holding a signing day celebration.

Last student days for CETC & IC:  CETC & IC last class days for underclassmen will be May 16th for A day students  and May 19th for B day students.  Seniors will finish all classes at the same time on May 15th.
AP Art Capstone:  Wednesday night our visual arts students shined at their AP Capstone event — a showcase of incredible talent, creativity, and hard work!

Science Students Shine: Our science students had an incredible experience Wednesday at CSU, engaging hands-on in the cadaver lab. A powerful day of exploration and learning!

Senior Students honored at IC: Join us in congratulating two Rockstar Falcons, Yahelie and Litzy, who were honored last Friday night at the Innovation Center Senior Night of Excellence!

Important iPad information: If your student is staying in SVVSD next academic school year, they will be taking their iPads home over the summer. If your student will be transferring out of SVVSD, iPads must be returned to the library by May 22, 2024. Parents may still purchase iPad insurance. Paying these fees will cover the iPad in case it gets damaged during the summer. Students’ current iPad insurance must be paid in full to be eligible for insurance the following year.

Did you know?: The St. Vrain Valley School District has over 2,000 teachers and those teachers have 23,000 years of teaching experience with over 60% having graduate degrees.

Registration reminders:This is an exciting time as we get ready for the 2025-2026 school year, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Below are important dates and reminders to guide you and your student through the process.
