Message from Principal
Dear Skyline Families,
It is absolutely incredible to see our students diving into their classes with such a spark of enthusiasm! This week, we kept that momentum going with deep-dive learning sessions, giving our kids valuable time to connect one-on-one with their teachers and really master those new concepts. It has been a joy for us to watch so many of them seize these new opportunities to sharpen their skills and grow more confident every day.
We are also looking forward to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences, which are a wonderful chance for us to partner together and celebrate your child’s progress. These conversations are such a vital part of our school culture, ensuring we are all working as a team to support your student’s growth and success. Their renewed commitment is truly inspiring, and we are so excited to keep cheering them on and pushing them toward excellence all semester long!
From Skyline to the World Stage: A Falcon is Heading to the Olympics! We have some incredibly exciting news to share with our Skyline community! We were recently contacted by a beloved retired SVVSD teacher and her husband, Cory Hoople—our former Falcons golf coach—with a major celebration. One of Coach Hoople’s former student-athletes, Chase Blackwell (Class of 2017), has reached the pinnacle of athletic achievement! Chase has officially been named to the four-man U.S. Olympic Halfpipe Snowboard Team and will be representing the United States of America in the upcoming Winter Games! Fresh off competing at the X-Games in Aspen, Chase continues to demonstrate the hard work and “Falcon Pride” that started right here in our halls. It is a joy to see our alumni seizing new opportunities and strengthening their skills on a global scale. Please join us in cheering on Chase as he goes for the gold—once a Falcon, always a Falcon!
National School Counseling Week: Next week, we celebrate National School Counseling Week! Please join us in showing appreciation for our incredible counselors and the invaluable work they do every day to support our students, staff, and community.
