Message from Principal

Dear Skyline Families,

As we approach the final week of February, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work and dedication our students have shown so far this semester. With just three short weeks until Spring Break, this is the perfect time to stay focused, push through challenges, and finish strong. These next few weeks are crucial for maintaining momentum, and I encourage all students to give their best effort in class, stay on top of assignments, and take advantage of any available support. Let’s keep up the hard work and finish this stretch on a high note!

Falcons Demonstrate Excellence:

Please join us in congratulating our wrestling team.  This past weekend the team competed at the regional tournament and we had four wrestlers place with two of them heading to the state tournament in Denver.  Our athletes left it all on the mat, and we are so proud to announce that we have two state qualifiers heading to the big stage!

  • Angel Perez dominated the competition to become a Regional Champion!
  • Cody Smith took home a fantastic second-place finish!

Both Angel and Cody are officially State Bound! A huge shout out also goes to Lukaus Martinez, who secured a hard-fought 5th place, and Isaac Rodriguez, who finished strong in 6th place. The grit and determination shown by this entire group were next-level.

Please join me in congratulating these hard-working Falcons!

Future Ready Festival:  Get ready to see innovation in action! St. Vrain Valley Schools is hosting a Future Ready event to showcase all the incredible programs that make our district so special.

We are especially proud to share that our very own Skyline staff and students will be there presenting! It’s a wonderful opportunity to see first-hand the creativity and leadership our Falcons bring to the community every day.

Please mark your calendars—we would love to see a huge Skyline turnout to support our students! All the details you need are right here:

Prom & Attendance Update:  Any students who are planning on attending the Junior/Senior Prom on Saturday, April 18 will be allowed to have no more than 5 days of unexcused absences (4 period absences equals 1 day) and/or 25 tardies beginning January 26, 2026 in the 12 weeks leading up to Prom.  Reminder, absences must be excused within 48 hours of the absence.

Registration reminders:This is an exciting time as we get ready for the 2026-2027 school year, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Below are important dates and reminders to guide you and your student through the process.

  • February 2026: Skyline High School Registration Deadline.  The registration window for the 2026-2027 school year closes in February, for current Skyline students. Timely registration is essential to secure spots in desired courses. Late registrations may result in limited options.
