Falcon News April 25, 2025

Message from Principal

Skyline Families,

As we close out April and look ahead to May, it’s hard to believe we are in the final stretch of the school year! Seniors have just two and a half weeks left, and the rest of our students have four weeks to go. This is a crucial time for all Falcons to stay focused, stay present, and finish strong.

Last week, our students showed incredible determination and resilience during the SAT and PSAT. Their effort and focus were outstanding, and we’re so proud of how they rose to the occasion. It was a powerful reminder of what our students can do when they are prepared and supported.

As we move through these final weeks, we ask for your partnership in helping your student cross the finish line successfully. Please encourage your student to:

  • Attend school every day and be on time — every day counts!
  • Stay organized and check grades regularly
  • Ask for help when needed — our teachers, counselors, and support staff are here to help.
  • Get plenty of rest and take care of their well-being

Together, we can ensure our students stay on track and finish the semester with pride. Thank you for your continued support of Skyline High School — and for being an essential part of your student’s journey. Rising 9th grade studentsWe had an outstanding turnout on Wednesday night as we welcomed our rising freshmen to Skyline! It was a fantastic evening filled with energy and excitement as we showcased our top-notch programs and opportunities. Our goal was simple: to get more students connected and involved in the Falcon community — and we’re off to a great start!  Our feeder principals also showed support by wearing Falcon gear for the day!

Reminder – NO SCHOOL on Monday, April 28 is a non-student contact day, so students will have the day off. We hope they enjoy the break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, April 29!

Mark your calendars – Academic Awards Night:  We’re excited to invite you to our Academic Awards Night on Wednesday, April 30th starting at 6:00 PM in the Vance Brand Auditorium.  It will be a special evening as we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence of our outstanding students. Come help us honor their achievements and cheer on our incredible Falcons!

Did you know?: The St. Vrain Valley School District nutrition services served over 2.9 million meals to students last year and is on track to surpass that number for the 2024-2025 school year.

Registration reminders:This is an exciting time as we get ready for the 2025-2026 school year, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Below are important dates and reminders to guide you and your student through the process.
