NMSQT and Practice SAT
The NMSQT and the Practice SAT will take place on Wednesday, October 11th. Students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will test on this day. Seniors will have asynchronous learning for the day.
Testing hours will be from 7:45 am to 11:00 am. Students that arrive between 8:00 am and 8:15 am will be assigned to the late room.
Students who arrive after 8:15 am will need to contact family and be picked up from school.
After testing students may go home.

Fall 2023 Parent Teacher Conferences
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming conferences where we will have the opportunity to discuss your child’s academic progress and growth. Conferences will be on Wednesday, October 11th and Thursday, October 19th at Skyline High School.
Please sign up for a time slot through our online booking system Meet the Teacher. This year we will be having 2 sessions on each day, the first session will be Virtual and the second session will be in person.
(Check in at the office for a Translator, it will be on a first come first serve basis)
Senior Shirts Store
Attention Seniors order your t-shirts for the Senior Photo! The last day to order the shirts is Tuesday October 17th at 11:59pm. When shirts arrive Seniors will be told where to pick up the shirts.

Parents Involved in Education Meeting
This is a friendly reminder that PIE will be offering a two-part mental health series in the month of October. Part 1 will focus on the mental health of parents and caregivers on Wednesday, 10/11. Part 2 will focus on the mental health of children and adolescents (adolescents welcome) on Wednesday, 10/25.
The Longmont Public Library is leading children’s activities this year (thank you Lili, Denise, Danielle, and Maricela!) – children will continue doing movement with Anima Arts for both sessions, as well as rock painting on 10/11 and sugar skull decorating on 10/25.
St. Vrain is Hiring: Visit Our Support Staff Job Fair
Individuals passionate about education who desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students are invited to attend the district’s upcoming job fair on Monday, October 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Main Street School, 820 Main St., Longmont.

Trunk or Treat Event
Student Council’s annual Trunk or Treat event is coming up on Wednesday, October 25th from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
This is a great event for our community because we get to showcase Skyline’s amazing teachers, students and activities.
Yearbook/Senior Photos/Baby Ad
Senior photos are due by Friday, October 27, 2023. There will be a $10 late fee for any pictures submitted after this date. We will no longer be accepting photos after Friday November 10th, 2023.
If you want to show off more of those baby pictures, Senior recognition ads can be purchased until October 27th, 2023 for early bird pricing. They will remain on sale at the regular price until December,1st 2023.
Upcoming Superintendent’s Town Hall Meetings
St. Vrain Valley Schools invites parents, teachers, staff, and community members to join Superintendent, Dr. Don Haddad, for one of our upcoming Superintendent Town Hall meetings. These annual open forums in each of our geographic areas provide an opportunity for Dr. Haddad and other district leaders to listen to our community’s questions and suggestions, share our many successes, and discuss our bold vision for continuing to build new schools as our student enrollment continues to climb.

Skyline Booster Club
Thank you to those who attended this month’s Booster Club Meeting! Lots of planning is going on to support our Falcon Community! Plans and fun for the home football game, conference meals for teachers, the Parade of Falcons in December, and more!
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE MEALS
We will be showing our Skyline teachers and staff our appreciation! The Booster Club is coordinating a dinner for our teachers and staff during conferences on Wednesday, October 11th.
The theme is Chili Night, and all items need to be dropped off on October 11th by 4:30 p.m. that day. We will also need a couple of folks to help us set up and clean up.
We are grateful for our parents/guardians to support our Falcon Community.
FaclonTECH
Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) is a new type of school that brings together the best elements of high school, college and the professional world.
P-TECH is a model that Skyline offers, allowing students to earn a high school diploma as well an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) at no cost from Front Range Community College.
STEM Academy
Our STEM courses are designed so that students have the opportunity to develop multi-cultural relationships within teams, to collaboratively solve problems and to develop leadership skills.
Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VPA)
Skyline provides a rigorous, comprehensive and technology-infused arts program that will prepare our students for post-secondary education, careers, and other creative fields.
