Message from Principal

Dear Falcon Parents and Guardians,

As our highly anticipated Thanksgiving Break swoops in next week, I genuinely hope you get to hit the pause button and enjoy some fantastic time with your loved ones!  This holiday is such a perfect opportunity to step back and reflect on all the good things we have. I feel truly deeply grateful to be part of such an amazing, supportive community alongside you and your families.  Enjoy this well-deserved break! Recharge fully, because when we bounce back, we’ve only got two quick weeks before we dive into finals! Happy Thanksgiving!

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the outstanding talent selected for this year’s SVVSD High School Honor Orchestra and Honor Mariachi!  This was an intense, audition-only process, and we are bursting with pride to announce that an incredible 14 Skyline students were selected to participate! This massive achievement speaks volumes about the dedication and passion within our Performing Arts Academy.

The Honor Orchestra Festival brings together the best high school musicians in the district for intensive music-making. Our students will have the amazing opportunity to rehearse and perform with renowned guest conductors and artists, developing their musicality and culminating in a spectacular public concert.

We are proudly featuring the High School Honor Mariachi Ensemble—a powerful showcase of talent and culture! Mariachi is a rich, vibrant tradition of Mexican music featuring instruments like the vihuela, guitarrón, violins, trumpets, and guitars. This performance will highlight our talented student musicians and celebrate the deep cultural heritage that enriches our community.

Join the Celebration!

Plan your visit to the 2025 Concert:

  • Date & Time: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 7:00 pm
  • Location: Mead High School Auditorium: 12750 County Road 7
