St. Vrain Valley Schools will receive a $125,000 donation from Google to support the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) program. St. Vrain Valley Schools will use the funds to help cover the cost of tuition, fees, technology and textbooks for FalconTECH students. FalconTECH was one of the first P-TECH programs launched in Colorado.

“St. Vrain Valley Schools is honored to partner with Google to advance our FalconTECH program, one of Colorado’s most successful industry pipelines for diverse tech talent,” said Don Haddad, Ed.D., Superintendent of St. Vrain Valley Schools. “Our partnerships with industry leaders such as Google enhance our ability to provide a strong competitive advantage for our students in a highly competitive and globalized world.”

Students enrolled in FalconTECH at Skyline High School earn an associate of applied science in computer information systems from Front Range Community College, and receive significant mentorship and internship support from industry partner, IBM.

“Google is proud to support the efforts of St. Vrain Valley Schools to advance career readiness in Colorado with innovative technology solutions,” said Javier González, Google’s Interim Head of Government Affairs & Public Policy for the Southwest Region. “Google has had a presence in Colorado for over 15 years, and we look forward to continuing our local partnerships to create a greater impact within the state.”
