A product of Longmont High School, Travis Schlagel is a dedicated educator with a passion for science, sports, and student development. After earning his Associate’s Degree in Science from Otero Junior College, where he also played baseball, he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, and Pre-Physical Therapy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009.

Continuing his education, Travis obtained his teaching license in science from Colorado Mesa University in 2010. Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership through CU Denver, he has been a dedicated teacher at Skyline High School for 12 years, serving as the head baseball coach for the last 10.

A firm believer in the character-building qualities of sports and competition, Travis enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the mountains.
