Monica Martinez was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado, where she developed a strong connection to her community and a love for the outdoors. She attended Metro State University and is deeply devoted to helping and supporting students and their families. Since 2008, Monica has worked for the St. Vrain Valley School District, bringing dedication and warmth to her role. For the past 12 years, she has been an integral part of the Skyline High School team, where she has made a significant impact in the front office, serving as a trusted support system for students, parents, and colleagues alike.

Monica's passion for her work is evident in her interactions with students, whom she considers the most rewarding part of her job. Whether helping them navigate daily school life or lending a listening ear, she is always ready to make a positive difference in their experience at Skyline.

Outside of her professional life, Monica enjoys activities that keep her connected to nature and her family. She has a passion for gardening, spending her free time nurturing plants and creating a beautiful outdoor space. She also cherishes family moments, particularly when they involve exploring Colorado’s scenic landscapes. Riding her ATV through the mountains is one of her favorite pastimes, offering both adventure and relaxation in the state she loves. Monica’s dedication to her community, her family, and the students she works with continues to make a meaningful impact on those around her.
