Michael Brooker is originally from Florida but moved to Colorado in 2023. Before transitioning to teaching, he worked in the marketing industry, where he contributed to advertising campaigns and press releases. This experience informs his approach to English education, as he aims to instill practical applications of classroom material.

Mr. Brooker is a member of Skyline's Freshman Core Team, which ensures that all 9th graders stay on track for graduation. In addition to teaching, he also serves as one of the sponsors of Skyline’s Debate Team.
