Alexandra Grubbs, with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Anthropology and a double major in Classics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, brings a diverse academic background to her professional roles. As the Family and Consumer Science Department Chair, she leads curriculum development and fosters student engagement in essential life skills. She also serves as the FCCLA Advisor and Student Council Advisor, empowering students to take active roles in leadership and governance.

Her previous teaching experience includes 8th Grade Humanities and K-12 Latin, and she has presented at the Classical Education Summit. Additionally, she has been a Certified Group Leader with EF Tours annually since 2017. After joining an International Educators partnership to support teachers at Musana Primary School in Uganda in 2019, Ms. Grubbs remains committed to creating impactful learning environments and empowering future leaders through meaningful experiences, unique opportunities, and hands-on activities both inside and outside the classroom. She has earned multiple nominations for SVVSD Teacher of the Year.
