Message from Principal
Dear Falcon Parents/Guardians,
We had another fantastic week of learning at Skyline! This week, the University of Colorado visited our students to discuss post-secondary options available after high school. Additionally, a group of students toured Front Range Community College, where they met with counselors and learned about the steps to enrollment.
Our staff is also working with Thinking Maps to support students in organizing their thoughts and responding to prompts through discussion. As we move forward in the school year, our students are settling into their routines and working hard in their classes.
It’s important to stay focused on both grades and attendance. Attendance is a key predictor of success, and we expect students to be present and on time every day, ready to learn. Please regularly check grades and attendance in Infinite Campus, and remember that assignments are posted in Schoology—a great tool for staying informed about what’s happening in your student’s classes.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: We sent out instructions on how to sign up for Parent/Teacher Conferences this week. The email was sent on Tuesday. The window to register for conferences opened up on Tuesday, September 17 and will stay open through Monday, September 30. Parent teacher conferences will be held in person on October 3 and October 17 from 3:15 – 7:45 p.m. (Translators will be available)
To schedule your student conferences please follow Meet The Teacher link

DECA Fundraiser at Marco’s Hot Dogs and Tacos: Our DECA club in partnership with Marco’s Hot Dogs and Taco will be holding a fundraiser on Sunday, September 22nd. This event will run from 11am to 6pm. Marco’s is not open on Sundays, but will support the Skyline DECA club by opening up that day. Profits for the day will go to our DECA program. The money raised will help support our students being able to attend the State Conference as well as other awesome DECA events. Please see the flier below.
