9:23 – 10:54 Period B8

11:01 – 12:32 Make-Up Exams

Last week, students from our STEM Academy volunteered at Columbine Elementary Literacy & STEM Night, creating a fun and engaging experience for their students and community. They made hands-on learning activities possible and did an outstanding job representing our school while giving back.

Attendance is essential for our students’ success. Starting next week, we will update our tardy policy: students with 5 tardies in a week will receive a lunch detention. This averages to one tardy per day. These updated expectations were shared with students during advisory classes this week. Thank you for your support in reinforcing the importance of being on time!

We hosted our Winter Gala, celebrating the incredible talents of our Visual and Performing Arts students. The event featured stunning displays of artwork, including paintings, pottery, and jewelry, alongside outstanding performances by our choir, mariachi group, and jazz band. It was a wonderful evening highlighting the creativity and achievements of our VPA Academy.

As we near the end of the semester, we’re incredibly proud of our students’ dedication and achievements. At Skyline, we are committed to supporting both academic excellence and personal growth. Thank you for being such a vital part of our amazing community!

Let’s keep inspiring our students to finish strong. Together, we’re building a bright future for every student. We appreciate your continued partnership and support! #WeAreSkylineEveryDay

Sincerely,
Anthony Barela
