Mireyda Juarez was born in Chihuahua, México, and moved to the United States with her family at the age of 15. She graduated from Centaurus High School in 1998 and earned her Associate's Degree from Front Range Community College in 2003. Mireyda went on to attend CU Boulder, graduating with honors in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Major in Spanish. She also holds an Endorsement in Spanish from the State Board of Education.

Mrs. Juarez has been a bilingual teacher in the St. Vrain Valley School District for 17 years. She currently teaches Spanish 1, Spanish 4, and Spanish for Spanish Speakers 1.

Passionate about teaching, Mrs. Juarez believes that teachers and students learn together collaboratively. Her goal is to motivate students to use the target language as much as possible and to inspire a passion for both the Spanish language and culture.
