Interpersonal Relationships

This course deals with everyday life and interpersonal interactions that every person may encounter during a lifetime. Class begins with knowing oneself better. Students will explore relationships with friends, family and coworkers, as well as one’s significant other. It allows students to think about their personal future and issues. The purpose of the course is to acquire academic knowledge and understanding for healthy, respectful, and caring relationships across the life span. Emphasis is placed on family and friend dynamics, effective communication, and healthy interpersonal relationships. Topics include communications skills, conflict resolution, stress management.
