AP French Language

This course is designed and taught in such a way as to provide students with an authentic atmosphere in which to acquire the French language. Building on the foundation of beginning level courses, the AP course will continue to use French exclusively as the language for instruction, communication and presentation. Emphasis is placed on improving students’ Interpersonal, Interpretive and Presentational skills. We will explore deeper cultural topics under the umbrella of the AP themes. Oral presentations, group work, informal conversation, compositions and class discussions will help students enhance their language skills in French. By the end of the year students will be able to communicate at an Intermediate-High level and will be prepared to pass the AP French exam.
