Alejandra Jiménez was born and raised in Durango, Mexico, and moved to the United States with her family when she was 11 years old. She attended St. Vrain Valley schools and graduated from Skyline High School in 2010. After graduating, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages (Spanish) and Education from MSU Denver. Following a few years of teaching, she pursued her Master's in Learning Design and Technology at CU Denver.

Alejandra had always dreamed of becoming a teacher and was thrilled to return to Skyline as a teacher in 2018. She currently teaches Spanish for Spanish Speakers levels 1 and 2, as well as AP Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, listening to music, hiking, and drawing.
