Message from Principal
Dear Skyline Families,
It’s truly inspiring to see our students embracing their learning with such energy and passion! This week, they’ve been diving deeper into their classes, building connections with teachers, and making the most of every opportunity to grow. Their enthusiasm and commitment to success are incredible, and we couldn’t be more excited to support them on this journey. We’re looking forward to an amazing semester filled with growth, achievement, and endless possibilities!
Falcons Demonstrate Excellence:
Our Performing Arts students are hitting the high notes and being recognized as some of the absolute best in the entire state! We are bursting with pride to celebrate our elite state-level selections: Raine Schwartz (11) for All State Jazz Choir, alongside Ashley Berkowitz (12) and Taben Swain (11) for All State Choir! A huge round of applause also goes to Fernando Gurrola and Shea Archie for their incredible achievement in being selected for the All State Orchestra! The talent, grit, and dedication these Falcons show every day truly shine—please join us in cheering them on for these amazing accomplishments!
We are incredibly proud to celebrate three of our talented Falcons—Genesis Salgado, Matthew Legg, and Isaac Brackin—who were selected for the prestigious SVVSD Honor Band! These students put in countless hours of practice to earn their spots among the district’s finest musicians. They delivered a truly spectacular performance this past Wednesday night, showcasing the hard work and artistry that make our music program so special. Please join us in congratulating them on this elite achievement!
Our AP Government students are demonstrating true academic excellence by diving deep into the heart of the legislative process! This week, our scholars took a hands-on approach to civics by researching and drafting their own original House bills. It was inspiring to see them master the complexities of policy-making as they investigated real-world issues and worked to craft meaningful solutions. This level of rigorous research and high engagement is a fantastic example of the deep learning that defines our Falcons—way to go, future leaders!
Timberline was the place to be this past Saturday as they hosted a massive robotics tournament with a number of teams competing. It was an incredible day filled with innovation and excitement, made possible by our amazing Skyline Falcons who stepped up to volunteer their time and energy. Whether they were helping run the event or supporting the teams, our students truly shined as leaders and mentors. We are so proud of their dedication to giving back to the community and for being such fantastic role models for the next generation of engineers!
