Living on Your Own
This is a course designed for upperclassmen who want to develop survival skills necessary for living on their own. Students will develop decision-making skills to become educated consumers for future housing and living needs. The course focuses on personal and family resources and finances, job and career basics, and wellness. Students will learn about vehicle maintenance, clothing repairs and making overall healthy lifestyle choices into adulthood. In addition, the course will cover effective communication and healthy interpersonal relationships across the life span. Students taking this class will be better prepared for the real world.
