Lauren Praska

Social & Emotional Support Interventionist

While pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Middle Level Math, Lauren worked with students facing various barriers to education both in and outside of school in Winona, MN.  During this time, she recognized the true need for students’ mental health needs to be addressed in order for them to learn effectively and be successful in school.  She went back to school for her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling while working as a school-linked mental health therapist.  Lauren moved from Minnesota to Longmont to join the Skyline family as a Social and Emotional Interventionist.  She is passionate about getting to know students and their families, identifying individual needs and advocating for them within the school system.  In her free time, she enjoys getting coffee with kind people, spending time with her family, reading, being outside, cooking, and trying new foods!  She loves getting to be part of the Skyline Counseling Team!
