2017 Eclipse Safety and Parent Information

Eclipse Safety Checklist

It’s not the eclipse that is dangerous to observe, it’s the sun! The sun’s visible (and invisible) rays can cause serious damage to the sensitive tissues of the eyes, often without being immediately aware of it. Normally, our common sense protects us from looking directly at the sun for more than a second.

Graduation will be indoors due to weather

Graduation day has arrived!
Weather forecasts today look definitive for rain and thunderstorms, and to ensure the safety and comfort of our 2017 graduates and their guests, we will be hosting our graduation ceremony in our auditorium. As space is more limited inside, every student will be given four tickets to distribute to family members or friends to have a guaranteed seat inside the main ceremony. Please arrange to find your student shortly after 8:00 a.m.

Graduation Weather Plan

Dear graduating seniors and families,
We are making final preparations for tomorrow’s graduation ceremony and are very excited to celebrate this significant milestone in the lives our students and their families. As we all know, the only thing that is consistent with spring weather in Colorado is its unpredictability. We are keeping an eye on the forecast and will notify families by 7:00 a.m.
