Skyline Falconbots Win at 2017 Rocky Mountain BEST Robotics Competition

The Skyline Falconbots' (Robotics Team) robot took 4th Place out of 30 and the team placed 4th in the BEST Award Competition at the Rocky Mountain BEST Robotics Competition October 21 at the Auraria Event Center at Denver Metro.  The BEST Award is comprised of the robot competition, engineering notebook, marketing presentation, exhibit booth presentation, and sportsmanship.

Senior Class Panoramic Picture

Best Class Picture will be here to take the panoramic senior picture on Tuesday, October 24th.  Students will be excused to the large gym at 9:45am.  If your student has a free block, be sure they report to the large gym by 9:45am.  Students will receive ordering information on picture day so they do not need to bring money to school.  Pictures may be ordered by mail or online at www.BestClassPicture.com.  Orders will be mailed to the students' homes three to four weeks after the pictures are taken.

Coffee With the Principal

Thursday, October 19th from 7:45am - 8:30am

Parents, you are invited to Coffee with the Principal on Thursday, October 19th from 7:45am - 8:30am in the Skyline Library.  Topics include "Getting Involved with Skyline:  Extracurricular and Beyond", and "What Your Student Needs to Know to be Successful in His or Her Grade Level".  Come enjoy coffee and donuts and chat with Principal Ringer and other Skyline representatives.  Questions Welcome!

Information Regarding Inclement Weather Procedures

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your partnership as we continue to advance the academic success and well-being of our students. Communication throughout our community is essential to ensuring the ongoing safety of our community. Toward this end, we would like to share important inclement weather information so that your family can be prepared in the event severe weather results in the closure or delay of our schools. 

Parent/Teacher Conferences

October 3rd and 10th, 3:00pm - 7:30pm.

Come and talk to your student's teachers on Wednesday, October 3rd from 3:00pm - 7:30pm or Wednesday, October 10th from 3:00pm - 7:30pm! 

The teachers will be taking a dinner break from 5:00pm - 5:30pm on both evenings so they will not be available during that half hour.

While attending your student's Parent Teacher Conference, please join us for an informational presentation.  FAFSA and Financial Aid Presentation, Wednesday, October 3, from 5:30pm - 6:00pm in the auditorium.

Student Password Resets

All students are required to change their school district password to a unique (“strong”) password to align with password best practices and promote good digital habits by November 1, 2017 at the latest.
