K-12 Student Accident Insurance

Insurance is available to cover your student if an accident occurs.  Various plans are available.

Parking Permits are Now Available

All students must have a parking permit in the east parking lot.

Permit registration forms may be picked up in the mail office or click here for ENGLISH or SPANISH

Please turn the form and $5 (or the receipt for $5 if paid online) in to a campus supervisor to receive your permit.

Got an iPad? Get Insurance!

Accidents happen! The SVVSD Optional iPad Insurance Program for secondary students covers many of the costs associated with a damaged or lost iPad.  This year, the cost has been lowered to $25 AND includes new levels of coverage.  Plus, students who opt into insurance this year will be able to exchange a non-functioning cable for a new one at no cost! Senior Sunrise

Senior Sunrise is Thursday, August 16th at 5:30am.

All incoming seniors and their families are invited to join classmates and staff for this annual tradition. Please meet on the east side of school to enjoy the sunrise, eat some breakfast, and enter SHS with your classmates for your final first day of high school. 

Falcon Days August 7th and 8th

Falcon Days will be held on Tuesday, August 7th and Wednesday, August 8th from 8:00am - 1:00pm.

Please be sure to come either Tuesday or Wednesday!  Get your ID picture taken (IDs are free and mandatory; you may purchase pictures if you would like), reserve a locker, pay fees, and get your iPad!

Schools Recognized with USDA's HealthierUS School Challenge Awards

In May of 2016, Nutrition Services and School Wellness applied for USDA’s HealthierUS School Challenge awards for all of our middle schools and high schools that participate in the National School Breakfast and National School Lunch program.

The HealthierUS School Challenge: Smarter Lunchrooms is a voluntary certification initiative that recognizes schools creating healthier school environments through promotion of nutrition and physical activity.

Skyline Boys and Girls Basketball Camp

Skyline will be hosting a Boys and Girls Basketball Camp for students entering 3rd through 8th grade.  The camp will run from July 16th - 20th.

Education, and the greatness of our nation

One of the most important institutions in our society is public education. Of the approximately 55 million K-12 aged children in the United States, it is estimated that 90 percent are enrolled in public schools. Second only to parenting, the longstanding institution of public education will have the greatest influence on America’s future.
 
In Colorado, we’ve experienced an ongoing discussion around the adequacy of resources for our public schools with mixed results.

iPad Insurance for 2018-2019

The iPad Damage Insurance will be available to purchase from August 1 - September 5.

This insurance is designed to offset the costs of lost or damaged iPads.  The cost will be $25 and will cover the 2018-2019 school year.  CLICK HERE for more information on what the insurance does and doesn't cover.
