The first Coffee with the Principal of 2018 will be held on Thrusday, January 18 from 7:45am - 8:45am in the Skyline library. The theme will be "How Can You Offer Emotional and Academic Support to Your Student at Home." Our Mental Health School Social Worker and Interventionist, Martha Woodard, will be joining us and we hope you can too!
As we approach the halfway mark of another successful school year, I want to thank you for your continued support as we strive for excellence in serving our students, parents and community. Communication throughout our community is essential to ensuring the ongoing success of our students and staff.
Skyline's Model United Nations team competed in its second-ever conference at Fossil Ridge High School on Saturday, December 9. Thirty Skyline students competed agains 29 other schools and more than 350 individual delegates. Despite those big numbers, Skyline brought home FOUR of the top awards: Freshment Lily Peterson and Ashwini Shrestha won the award for Best Position Paper for Sweden, while sophomores Annika Vagle and Katie Nieuwlandt won Outstanding Delegation for Russia.
Finally, a stress-free way to get the kids to school!
Skyline High School has teamed up with Way to Go to offer Schoolpool, a safe carpool matching service. Schoolpool connects neighboring families who may be a good fit for driving, walking or biking to school together. For more information, contact Amy Magyar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
