Attention Students and Parents: E-Credit information is now available. If your student has failed a core class, please read the attached for e-credit information. 

 

 

Clothing and Toiletry Closet Opens at Skyline

On Saturday, March 11, 2017, St. Vrain Valley School District held its 2nd Annual District-Wide Design Challenge here at Skyline High School. Three teams from Skyline participated: The Empathastics (Brittni Staufer, Michael Aragon, and Scott Duckworth); SHS iHope (Casey Luker and Ashlie Swanson); and Access to Essentials (Meghan Carter, Kelly Bates, and Lori Januszewski).

Skyline Art on Display

In a collaboration between St. Vrain Valley Schools and Arts Longmont, the artwork of Skyline students will be on display from April 11th - April 16th at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.

Skyline Students Testify at State Capitol

Katelyn Wojniak (12th), Michelle Tran (10th), and Adriana Guzman (9th/PTECH) went to the State Capitol to give testimony in support of HB 17 - 1184, the Modern Technology Education in Public Schools bill. Sponsored by Rep. Crisanta Duran and Sen. Kevin Grantham, the bill directs the DOE to create a publicly available resource bank of materials pertaining to computer science programs. The motion passed 11 - 2 on March 23rd! 

 

Diploma Hand Out Request Forms Are Now Available

For those seniors who want their diploma handed to them by a Skyline staff member at Graduation, the forms are available in the Counseling office. The deadline to turn in completed forms is Friday, May 5th. No exceptions. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Stephens.

Auditions for Student Graduation/Senior Night Speeches and Performances

ATTENTION SENIORS: 

Auditions for giving a speech at Graduation or Senior Night will be held on Tuesday, April 25th (in the Lyceum), and auditions for performing at Senior Night will be held Tuesday, April 27th (in the Choir Room). 

Skyline's Got Talent: A Big Success

A round of applause to Michelle Scott and our Student Council for hosting our first annual Skyline's Got Talent! 13 acts performed, including singers, dancers, and comedians. We even had one performer on a pogo stick! Thanks to all of the staff, family, and students who came out to cheer on our talented Falcons. A special thanks goes to Garrett Lalaguna and his crew for doing a terrific job with sound and lighting and to our judges who made the tough decisions.

Spring Break Starts This Friday, March 24th

Skyline's spring break begins this Friday, March 24th, with a non-student contact day, and goes through Sunday, April 2nd. School reopens on Monday, April 3rd, which is a B-Day (Gold). 

Skyline's Got Talent: March 21st at 6 PM
