A round of applause to Michelle Scott and our Student Council for hosting our first annual Skyline's Got Talent! 13 acts performed, including singers, dancers, and comedians. We even had one performer on a pogo stick! Thanks to all of the staff, family, and students who came out to cheer on our talented Falcons. A special thanks goes to Garrett Lalaguna and his crew for doing a terrific job with sound and lighting and to our judges who made the tough decisions.

The Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley would like to remind the St. Vrain community that Encore Award Nomination forms are due Wednesday, March 15th. The Encore Awards program provides an opportunity for students, parents, teachers, staff, volunteers --- anyone in the St. Vrain Valley community --- to recognize and honor individual teachers at the Pre-K – 12 levels who exemplify excellence in teaching. A review committee convenes and selects three teachers from every St.
In this era of credit cards, PayPal, online shopping, and sophisticated marketing, many parents feel challenged to instill a sense of financial responsibility in their teens.
However, it was not parents, teachers, administrators or school board members – but last year’s Student Advisory Council (SAC) which was the driving force behind the district’s new Financial Literacy requirement.
