AP Statistics involves an in-depth study of statistics. It is a fast-paced, rigorous course designed to prepare students to take the
Advanced Placement test in Statistics. It is designed as a college-level course; students will be expected to spend 10-15 hours per
week outside of class reading and staying up-to-date on the course materials. In this course, it is necessary for students to be selfmotivated, highly disciplined, and responsible for their own learning. AP Statistics focuses on: exploratory analysis, experimental
design, probability and statistical inference.
